Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a mega problem thanks to One UI 3.0

A few months ago Samsung announced version 3.0 of One UI. It is based on Android 11. Meanwhile it introduces a number of new features for Galaxy smartphones. The program is currently available for some of the Korean giant’s flagships but in beta. It goes without saying that these versions are not recommended. At least for users less used to these wanderers. They usually come with bugs and can compromise their use. Today, Samsung started rolling out the One UI 3.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. But the update has been discontinued. This is because it presents a critical problem. It seems to trap users on the lock screen and not allow them to do anything else.

According to the SamMobile website, the issues started being reported on the Samsung community forums just hours after the launch began. Apparently, the beta version of OneUI 3.0 for ZFold2 with the code name F916NKSU1ZTKB had an issue that made this device unusable. Imagine what it’s like to spend so much money on a foldable top and it stops working. This is not the first time this has happened. I remember that Samsung has already had to postpone the Galaxy Note 10 update due to battery and performance issues.

In the case of the Z Flip everything seems to be fine. This device is already running Android 11 beta which is quite stable according to users. However, this is not the case with the latest foldable smartphone.

It is true that the new beta has come to fix a number of problems, but unfortunately, it has new bugs.

Although the Galaxy Z Fold2 has to wait for a stable update, the One UI 3.0 beta update will also arrive on the S10, S10 + and S10e in some countries. Of course, to be eligible, users must open Samsung Members and click on the respective banner.
