Stranger Things season 4 has finally resumed filming after filming stopped earlier this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Now that production has resumed and continues, Stranger Things has released some information on the new actors and characters who will be joining our favorite Hawkins residents.

Here are EIGHT new players to appear in Season 4:

The first is Robert Englund, who will play Victor Creel. Robert is best known for his iconic role as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Victor Creel is described as “a disturbed and intimidating man imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a horrific murder in the 1950s”.

Eduardo Franco will play the role of Argyle, Jonathan’s new best friend. Eduardo is best known for his role as Theo on Booksmart. Argyle is described as a “proud and fun-loving courier for Surfer Boy Pizza”.

Jamie Campbell Bower then joins the staff as Peter Ballard, who is serving in a psychiatric hospital. Jamie has played Caius, Young Grindelwald and Jace in several memorable film series, including The Twilight Saga, Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, respectively. Peter Ballard is described as “a compassionate man who works in a psychiatric hospital”.

Sherman Augustus, Lt. He will appear as Colonel Sullivan. Sherman recently starred in Into the Badlands as Nathaniel Moon. Sullivan is described as “an intelligent and frivolous man who believes he knows how to stop the evil in Hawkins forever.”

Mason Dye will play Jason Carver, a popular guy in Hawkins. He has appeared on several television shows including Mason, Teen Wolf, Finding Carter, and Bosch. Jason Carver is “a rich and attractive athlete who dates the most popular girl in school. But when a new evil threatens Hawkins, his perfect world will begin to unravel.”

Tom Wlaschiha will play Dmitri. Tom was cast as Jaqen H’ghar in Game of Thrones prior to Stranger Things. Dmitri is described as “an intelligent and attractive Russian prison guard”.

Nikola Djuricko joins the cast as Russian smuggler Yuri. This is one of Nikola’s first major roles in America. He had previously appeared in Einstein’s season of Genius. Yuri is described as “a sleazy and unpredictable Russian smuggler who loves jokes, money and crunchy peanut butter”.

And finally, Joseph Quinn will play the role of Eddie Munson. Prior to Stranger Things, Jospeh starred in Catherine the Great, Howards End and played Enjolras in the miniseries Les Misérables. Eddie Munson is described as “the president of the official Hawkins High D&D Club, The Hellfire Club”.

The new character set is already awesome. However, it did not go unnoticed that no new actresses participated in the production.
