It’s been a long wait but today, finally, World of Warcraft Shadowlands will be officially released! Blizzard’s epic MMORPG reaches its eighth major expansion surrounded by hype, and from what we’ve seen from our early beta tests, it has everything to please both new players and veterans alike!
A new world of adventure
In recent months, at the invitation of the producer, we have had several opportunities for interviews, which have allowed us to immerse ourselves deeply in the tradition and mechanisms of the game. We spoke with Steve Danuser, the lead narrative designer, about all the secrets of the new Maldraxxus area and also the unprecedented region of Revendreth.
In turn, ely Cannon, the art director of Shadowlands, he also revealed all the details and the backstage of the production of Ardena, the home of the guardians of nature, the Nighttime Pact. Ion reminded us that, in the new adventure, we will all be able to integrate one of the four Covenants of the Dark Lands, each of which has their own powers and motivations. This will guarantee many hours of content to explore alone or with your friends online, with the richest and most complex endgame ever seen in the franchise!
To help accessibility for beginners, Shadowlands features a completely reworked new tutorial area that helps you learn the game mechanics and level up faster than at any time in the story. Although it was originally released in 2004, the new expansion makes the recent and modern game look like other MMORPGs of the current generation.
