“Quietly asleep”

“Despite the use of all the technological measures and intensive care, he fell asleep peacefully today, without having regained consciousness in advance. He is leaving behind his wife, daughter and granddaughter,” the family wrote. “He was not only a popular comedian and entertainer, but above all an exceptionally lovable and likeable person.”

Dall had taken on the role of old rock star Richie Sky on ARD’s daily series “Rote Rosen” since early November. In Lüneburg, where the soap opera is filmed, on 11 November he suffered a stroke with a cerebral hemorrhage.
