The governing body has decided (although it has not yet made it official) to leave Cúcuta Deportivo out, due to its sporting and economic problems, and has organized the groups according to geographical location to avoid very long transfers.

Here’s how the groups were formed:

Group A: Envigado, Medellín, Águilas de Rionegro and Pereira.

Group B: Millonarios, Once Caldas, Patriotas and Boyacá Chicó.

Group C: Alianza Petrolera, Jaguares and Bucaramanga.

The games will start this Thursday and Friday according to the calendar approved by the governing body. The first two zones will have three dates, while the last one will have only two.

This Wednesday there will be another meeting to define the situation of Cúcuta Deportivo, but it is very likely that the groups will remain.
