The fittest players of the Tournament of Champions put on a show of great days in the final act of the competition. Medvedev returned after losing the first set and didn’t give up until the end. The Russian athlete won in three sets, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4, at the end of two hours and 44 minutes and became the sixth “champion of champions” in the last six editions.

Medvedev made no mistakes in the Tournament of Champions

Medvedev had a perfect run in London, defeating anyone in his path. The world number four won all group matches, even ahead of ATP leader Novak Djokovic, and overtook Rafa Nadal in the semifinals. The Russian has won the ninth but most important title of his career and boasts a streak of 10 consecutive victories.
