The round has to be square – and for once it’s not about football, but about the camera layout in OnePlus’ new flagship smartphone.
OnePlus 8 Pro only came out in April, the 8T in October, but of course there are now the first images of the successor. As often happens, the great Steve Hemmerstorfer aka OnLeaks has taken possession of unpublished material and this time he gives us the photos of OnePlus 9 Pro.
The new OnePlus 8T offers almost nothing new, but it is cheaper than its predecessor
However, he quickly says that these would be images of a prototype. However, the basic design has already been fixed. There may still be changes in the details, such as how the main camera on the back is designed.
Display with still the selfie cam notch
The display is very similar to that of the predecessor and should also measure about 6.7 inches diagonally. It is curved on the sides. For the front camera, a notch-style hole has been placed on the top left.
The speakers are located on the lower round of the device, the notification slider and the power button are located on the right, the volume rocker on the left. The back is in glass.
OnePlus 8 Pro presented and tested: finally there is what you missed
The main camera has four sensors
I mentioned in the beginning that the camera layout wasn’t entirely secure yet, but OnLeaks wanted to know that four sensors were being used again – no big surprise. However, the angular arrangement introduced with the 8T is not unlikely to be adopted.
OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to arrive in March
OnLeaks is rarely wrong, so we can trust him when he says the OnePlus 9 Pro will be launched in March 2021. This was already evident in the rumors, now he’s giving us confirmation.
What do you think of OnePlus 9 Pro: would you buy it, would it be launched like this?
