While most viewers agree that The Big Bang Theory has had many excellent seasons, even the most avid fan can admit they weren’t all for ten. So which season is considered the worst on the show?
The Big Bang Theory is an incredibly successful show. But while it has amassed a huge following throughout its 12 seasons, the series has also garnered its fair share of criticism. What could be the worst season of the series?
Season 9
Season 9 of The Big Bang Theory it was pretty hard to beat. During season nine, Leonard Hofstadter and Penny get married only to deal with serious marital problems immediately when Leonard reveals that he has been cheating.
The writers also split Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler. Leonard and Penny’s breakup and marital speech felt a bit like emotional torture.
Season 4
Season 4 of The Big Bang Theory It had some significant highlights, but one of the central storylines of the season failed to appeal to fans.
During the fourth season of the show, Raj Koothrappali’s sister Priya is introduced and begins a relationship with Leonard, much to Raj’s dismay. The relationship occupies a huge amount of real estate without much significance.
Season 8
Although season 4 and season 9 have fans and critics alike, Season 8 of The Big Bang Theory seems to be taking all the prizes. He saw a big change in some characters, and while some of those changes were well written, others felt flat and fake.
Fans broadly agree that Penny leaving acting in sales was a particularly low point on the show. Raj and Emily’s relationship, which was a little weird, also took up a lot of space over the season, and fans agree it didn’t make sense.
The only bright spot in the show came from an unexpected tragedy. The way the show dealt with Ms. Wolowitz’s death has been widely praised.
