British researchers have developed a technique that allows people with ‘glaucoma’, known as ‘glaucoma’, to monitor their condition by performing a test inside their homes.

The innovation of the new system was provided by researchers from Metropolis University in London. To examine eyes and glaucoma at home, especially after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, and to impose periods of closure and home bans. Especially since annual hospital visits are considered an insufficient measure to monitor infection with this disease.
Researchers provided 20 glaucoma patients in England and Wales with a prototype of the home eye test based on artificial intelligence technology and a tablet for six months and asked them to test for their glaucoma presence at home.
The results of the home examination showed 98% similarity with the results of tests conducted in clinics and hospitals, according to the researchers.
