Titanfall 1 from Microsoft and Electronic Arts has arrived on Steam for PC

Last summer, Electronic Arts changed its PC exclusivity policy: some of the games that until then could only be found on Origin were also released on Steam. One is Titanfall 2, which is easily among the most beloved games of the just ended generation.

This policy did not apply to its Prequel, Titanfall 1, 2014, which was isolated due to publishing agreements with Microsoft, where the game is exclusive to Xbox consoles to date, and was distributed by the Xbox owner.

We weren’t expecting it, but Electronic Arts released the first Titanfall on Steam on November 20th. More specifically, it’s the Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game and nine additional maps.

Also, as a launch promotion you can find it with a 60% discount on the Valve platform ($ 7.99) or in a package that also includes the sequence, with an even more aggressive reduction.

Looking at the game’s archive, we found that the game includes support for Steam cards, much to the delight of many fans, as well as third-party DRM (meaning Origin will open every time you play), something that many they shouldn’t like it.

Overall, it’s still a highly recommended fierce SPF. With this and Apex Legends, the entire Titanfall universe has achieved Valve dominance. Perhaps this is yet another indication of the future Titanfall 3 long awaited by players.

Titanfall is now available, exclusively for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox Game Pass, and PC.
