  • Start a personal chat or create a group chat with 250 people.
  • Synchronize existing chats between your phone and computer and continuous conversations between different devices.
  • Talk for free with family and friends every day via audio and video calls.

How to start using it

  • If you’re new to Teams, install the desktop app and sign up with a Microsoft account.
  • If you already have the app because you use it at work, click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select the option “Add a personal account”. After logging in, Teams will open a new window with personal and group chats, allowing you to easily switch between the personal and professional versions of Teams. If you still don’t see this option, don’t worry, it rolls out gradually and could take hours or a few days.
