Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has already been released, but the journey for multiplayer fans has only just begun. On November 24, Treyarch will add its first post-launch map to the free mode. It’s Nuketown ’84, another new version of the beloved Nuketown map. Check out her first trailer below.
Along with a more desert environment, the map also displays a death token (as indicated by its “population”). Basically, there are a lot of familiar things, from two-story houses to buses in the middle of the street. The question now is whether there is an Easter egg to bring mannequins to life.
There’s even more to come with Season 1 in December, starting with 2v2 Gunfight, maps, additional multiplayer modes, and new weapons on the way. You can also expect “new” zombie modes and the Classified Warzone experience. Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
