On the morning of this Friday 20 November, the fatal road accident in which the composer Romualdo Brito died was known.

According to the information provided, the accident occurred near the town of San Roque, municipality of Curumaní, in the center of the Cesar department.

Brito is the composer of hits remembered for hits like “El Santo Cachón” popularized by Los Embajadores del Vallenato; “La defunta”, sung by Silvestre Dangond, and “Esposa mía”, by Otto Serge.

He also performed Mi Presidio, which Daniel Calderón paid tribute to him just a couple of weeks ago with a new version of this song.

In May 2020, Moisés Díaz, son of Diomedes Díaz, who was mobilizing in a private vehicle in the north of Barranquilla, also died. He was the middle brother of Martín Elías.
