ATP Finals in London – Nadal beats Tsitsipas and is in the semifinals – Sport

• The Spaniard has thus qualified for the semifinals, where on Saturday he will meet Daniil Medvedev.

Two aces in a row on the second serve – even a Rafael Nadal can’t do it every day. But just in this way the Spaniard equalized 4: 4 in the second set and finally seems to lead Stefanos Tsitsipas to despair.

Nadal had served too confidently until then, the Greek never coming close to a break chance. In the first round, one turn in the serve was enough for Nadal to win the set.

Tsitsipas returns once again

The last two games of the group are scheduled for Friday in London. Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev clash on Friday afternoon (3:00 pm live SRF two) in a direct duel for last place in the semifinals. Medvedev meets Diego Schwartzman in the evening, who has already retired.
