Spinal cord surgery
The late artist underwent spinal cord surgery last month to widen his vertebrae after falling on his neck, resulting in the arrest of his hands and feet.
He had Marsa disease
A few days after the surgery, doctors discovered that the artist, Fayek Azab, had Marsa disease, a type of bacterium that causes a high and severe temperature, and an infection on the surface of the skin accompanied by severe pain. .
Pneumonia
Then, “Azab” contracted pneumonia and doctors from the isolation hospital took a swab to show that he was infected with the emerging coronavirus after the test results were positive.
