Order PS5: Sales will resume today

A few weeks ago, the PS5 went on sale early. The first wave started in the middle of the night. Interested parties who were already in bed had a hard time getting a copy the following morning.

The second wave was even more bumpy. Several ordering systems collapsed and after a few minutes the specter was back again. The result: Not all stakeholders will be able to hold a PS5 on November 19, 2020.

Further ordering options will follow later in the day. Amazon talked about a 1pm start. Other traders have not given an exact time. Finally, Amazon, Saturn, Media Markt, Euronics, Saturn, GameStop, MediMax and Otto are expected to participate in the third wave. Some of the dealers have already confirmed their participation.

PS5 Product Lists

In order for you to be one of the players who could order a copy of the PS5 this time around, you should keep an eye on the following product entries:

Amazon

Saturn

Media market

No PS5 sales in stores

While early pre-orderers can get their consoles all over Germany today, you shouldn’t expect your local dealer to make a classic sale. Sony ruled out such a scenario in advance to avoid crowds in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, pre-orderers can pick up their confidential consoles in stores. All other players have to make do with the PS5 simulator for now.
