Taking very seriously the resemblance that Internet users found him to the mythical child of the popular humor series, Argentine Phil González wore the distinctive plaid cap, a striped shirt, brown trousers and red suspenders.

Phil Claudio González, the Argentine musician and producer for whom an avalanche of memes was generated in September due to his extraordinary resemblance to Chavo of 8, has fulfilled the desire of many on the Net by disguising himself as a famous television personality, created and interpreted by late Mexican actor Roberto Gómez Bolaños.

Taking very seriously the resemblance that Internet users found him to the iconic boy from the popular comedy series, González wore the distinctive checkered cap with visor and ear flaps, a striped T-shirt, brown trousers and red suspenders.

An Argentine toy store has shared several videos of his characterization on his TikTok profile, where he mimics some of Chavo’s signature gestures and even appears alongside a person disguised as a classic Quico character.

Phil Claudio, baptized on the net as the “Chavo del 8 metallero”, confessed in an interview at the end of September that at the beginning he had taken the jokes very badly on the subject, but already takes the funny comparisons in the best way. Furthermore, he confessed that he is taking advantage of his “15 minutes of fame” to advertise the rock group he belongs to and promote his T-shirt business.
