A small but useful news is coming to WhatsApp: power deactivate a video before sending it. The novelty was discovered in the Android beta by WaBetaInfo, although it is not yet active for users.
When you send a video on WhatsApp, the application gives you the ability to add text, stickers, scribbles and shorten the duration of the video, but unlike other applications, such as Instagram, the sound maintained unless you crop it so it’s short enough to turn it into a GIF.

WhatsApp is already working on an additional editing feature before attaching a video to a chat: remove the sound. So if you’ve recorded a video that has background sound that isn’t interesting, irrelevant, or you just don’t want it included, you can turn it off.
The operation is the same as for similar applications: pressing the speaker icon is possible deactivate a video before sending it to a chat, a group or as a post in one of your WhatsApp states.
It’s a small, albeit useful, to change it it probably won’t take too long to see active in the beta version of the app. Until now, if you want to mute a video before sending it, you’ll need to use a video editing app, which takes longer than just pressing a button before sending it.
