Mozilla has released the new update of its Firefox browser, Firefox 83, which introduces the “HTTPS only mode”, to guarantee secure connections to web pages, and improvements in charging performance.
By activating the new “HTTPS only mode”, Firefox will automatically connect to the file HTTPS version of the page and will ask for permission to load the pages that they are not encrypted via HTTPS.

This new Mozilla browser feature comes in handy when users are connected to a public Wi-Fi networkas it ensures that all connections are encrypted and secure.
To enable “HTTPS only mode”, users need to go to the menu button and select the section “Privacy and security”. Then they have to choose to enable the in mode all windows or just private windows.
Firefox 83 also introduces the zoom “pinch” on Windows touchscreen devices and touchpad on Mac devices for zoom in and out on web pages, as well as the ability to use the video arrows forward and backward in the image in the image windows.
This update also includes charging performance improvements up to 15 percent, in page response speed up to 12 percent and a use of memory reduced by up to 8 percent, thanks to updates to its JavaScript engine.
