Pro X Superlight is the new and improved version of the old G Pro Wireless. It weighs 25% less, the skates have been changed, has a matte finish and extended battery life.
In terms of performance, there will be no big difference, because Superlight uses the same without HERO 25K like the G Pro Wireless. IS the switches remained mechanical.
So let’s talk about how Logitech managed to lose the weight of one of the best 80g mice, for only 63g:
- It is no longer fully ambidextrous, the side buttons are only on the left side and are no longer modular
- The DPI switch button no longer exists, sensor sensitivity and profiles can only be changed in the G Hub software
- Without the lid on the receiver seat, Superlight weighs 60g. A PTFE lid is also provided in the package
The runners / legs are in PTFELogitech said it does not use any other additives. But, as you can see in the images, Superlight has a large outsole on the front, compared to the small and sensitive one on the G Pro W.
In the box of the mouse there are also fastening straps with different textures, which can be glued to the mouse.
Did I mention it has a file matte finish, but Logitech has also cut down on LEDs. There is only one bright spot on the entire mouse: the one that indicates the battery level. Those in the G logo and IPR indicators have been removed.
So, in theory, The mouse battery can last up to 70 hours per charge. About Razer Viper Ultimate with RGB off. The well-known intelligent power management built into the HERO sensor also helps.
Logitech Pro X Superlight is available in black and white on pre-order on the site for € 150, and in Romania, starting January 2021, somewhere in 730 lei.
