The Dragon spacecraft’s capsule was successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS) earlier this Tuesday, NASA confirmed via Twitter.

The event corresponds to the first manned operation of the private company SpaceX, which sent the Americans Shannon Walker, Michael Hopkins and Victor Glover to the ISS; and the Japanese Soichi Noguchi.

The four astronauts were received at the ISS by the crew of the Station, after the docking of the capsule called Resilience.

The spacecraft took off Sunday in Cape Canaveral, Florida, with a reusable Falcon 9 rocket, the EFE agency reported.
