Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain believes Mohamed Salah will not be happy with the changing rooms at Liverpool’s new training ground.

The midfielder took fans on a video tour of the AXA Training Center after it officially opened on Tuesday.

As the camera followed him into the locker room, Oxlade-Chamberlain pointed out that Salah’s jersey number had been placed on what he called “school desks”.

In the locker room all player numbers can be seen outside with deposit, however the Egyptian national team number is in the center of the room with a peg to hang his belongings.

“The dressing room is where the kids will spend most of the day,” Oxlade-Chamberlain said.

“I’d like to get you here quickly, I’m not sure it’s going to be too good.

“As you can see, we have Mohamed Salah on the school desks, who knowing the man – will not be happy!

“But he’ll have to live with it.”

While Oxlade-Chamberlain seems to think that Salah doesn’t have a section along the perimeter of the locker room, his jersey number can actually be seen with a space along with all the other players in the opening shot sequence in the video.

As the England international walked through Liverpool’s stunning new state-of-the-art facilities, he explained to fans what will happen in each room.

When he arrived at the gym, the 27-year-old revealed that he had his first session on Tuesday.

He said, “You’ll probably see Mo [Salah] and Sadio [Mane] here about four hours before training starts, doing a few things in beast mode.

“I had my first little session here today. This is much larger than what we are used to in Melwood and has a nice view over the fields.

“This is nice if you are injured seeing what you are working for.”
