Coronation Street Spoiler: Star reveals a dramatic ending for Ray

Coronation Street star Mark Frost has revealed that there’s no chance Ray Crosby will get away with his evil plans – and justice will eventually catch up with him.

But the story could go on longer than viewers think.

Sinister businessman Ray is working with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) to purchase the properties on the street so they can redevelop them.

As the bulldozers move through the show’s 60th anniversary episodes, a great battle is in the hands of the community.

And Mark is great with the prospect of his character having a shelf life.

He told The Inside Soap Yearbook 2020: “ It definitely won’t go without scot – it’s Corrie’s law but I’m really enjoying the ride, it’s good to be involved and it’s fun to play a villain.

‘There’s a long line of bad guys who have gone before me, so I’m enjoying the time I have. Ray won’t be okay, but he’s still not down in the dumps.

And he will still do some shocking stunts before his fall, which will lead viewers to appreciate his punishment even more.

Ray is capable of more than the community realizes …
