As usual, Samsung has already leaked all the features of its new line of Galaxy S21 devices which will be launched throughout the month of January.

As reported by AndroidPolice, Samsung will launch three models of its new line of devices in the form of Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultrareleasing them simultaneously on a date yet to be confirmed in January.

Due to the breadth of the leak, we’ll talk about the different features and elements of the new high-end South Koreans and the difference between the different models.

Design and aesthetics

While the design has not been leaked in the renders, they ensure that it is very similar to the latest leaks to appear on the net. They claim that the regular model will feature a plastic back, while the S21 Ultra will sport a glass back. It is unclear what material the Galaxy S21 + will use.

There will also be a wide variety of colors including Phantom Pink, Violet, Gray and White for the Galaxy S21; and Phantom Silver, black and purple for the Galaxy S21 +; On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will initially only be available in Phantom Black and Silver, waiting to know the names in Spanish.

screen

As for the screen, the Galaxy S21 will bet on a 6.2-inch panel, Galaxy S21 + for a 6.7-inch panel, and Galaxy S21 Ultra for a 6.8-inch panel.

The Galaxy S21 and S21 + models will be equipped with a 120 Hz display with FullHD + resolution. As for the Galaxy S21 Ultra screen, it will have a WQHD + resolution, with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz.

As for the inclusion of the S Pen, it appears that only the more advanced model will carry it but will not include it as standard in the box and it will not have an area on the case for storage.

Processor

Speaking of much more technical specs like the processor, as you can imagine the Galaxy S21 series will carry Samsung Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. All of them will be 5G compatible and it’s unclear whether South Koreans will offer LTE compatible models. On the other hand, both the Galaxy S21 and S21 + support Wi-Fi 6 while the Ultra model will be compatible with Wi-Fi 6E.

Battery

The Galaxy S21 would have a 4000mAh battery, the Galaxy S21 + 4800mAh and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5000mAh. The maximum load rate for each of the devices has not been confirmed at this time.

The RAM and internal storage configurations that will be available as standard are also unknown.

Cameras

The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + will carry a 12 Mpx ultra wide angle, a 12 Mpx main and a 64 Mpx telephoto lens.

Where we will make a qualitative leap will be with the S21 Ultra which would carry a 108 Mpx second generation main sensor, with an ultra wide angle of 12 Mpx. It will also have two telephoto lenses, one 10 Mpx with 3x and one 10 Mpx with 10x optical zoom.

All cameras will support 4K 60fps recording, something that was previously limited to just the main sensor. The funny thing is that the camera will be able to intelligently switch between 30 and 60 fps depending on the lighting conditions. An option of 8K at 30fps will also be added and a dual recording mode will be offered that will allow recording with the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

Price and availability

As for the price and availability, they comment that Samsung will make an effort and lower the price of the base device and that it will release the entire new line of phones in early January 2021.
