Mexico beat South Korea 3-2 in a prep match played in the Austrian city of Wiener Neustadt.

With Portista Jesus Corona at eleven, the Mexicans saw Korea advance in the score with Ui-jo Hwang (20), an advantage that lasted until 67 minutes when Raul Jiménez restored parity. Carlos Antuna (69 ‘) and Salcedo (70’) completed the somersault in the standings in the following minutes.

Coach Paulo Bento also saw Kyung-Won Kwon drop after 87 minutes, an insufficient goal to prevent the Koreans from losing.
