WhatsApp not only expects innovations in the future, two new features have been made available to users these days.
WhatsApp continues to do more to retain its users with new and exciting features. In the last few days, two novelties seem to have started, one of which has already been officially announced. In the meantime, running messages should also be available, which appear in WhatsApp in the settings of individual chats and also in groups.
Expired messages will automatically disappear
This is what the description of the function says:
Messages remain in a chat for 7 days for which expiring messages were activated, after which they disappear again.
Media and messages only disappear within the chat, not outside, nor do they disappear from the devices on which they were saved.
Messages can be saved by forwarding them or by taking a screenshot.
Of course this is only a voluntary option, no one should use this feature. If you find the new option: Open chat> tap the chat name> Messages expiring.
Background: The background image feature is expanded
It was a surprise, these days WhatsApp has also revised the settings for the background images. WhatsApp provides much more wallpapers, over 32 light images and 29 dark images. You can set how much the background should be darkened and whether you want to use the selected image for all or some chats.
As colleagues at WBI believe, this feature has already been rolled out to early users with Android devices via the beta app. This is not the case with me even with the latest beta, so it still seems to happen by accident. However, we can expect this innovation to be widely rolled out in the coming days.
More recently, future innovations have appeared again, including a change in the previous archiving function.
