Attendees at the event, held near Berlin, were required to wear PCR tests and wear a mask, although “many people did not use it,” says a witness.
The partial block that the rules in Germany to reduce contact and the risk of spreading covid-19 have not prevented the casting of ‘Matrix 4’ by the film company Warner Bros from celebrating end of shooting of the film, reports German tabloid Bild.
At least 200 people attended last Wednesday at the celebration, which was organized in Potsdam, about 45 minutes from Berlin. Codenamed “Icecream Teamevent” (“The ice cream team event”, in Spanish), the party was camouflaged as a scene from the movie of the film.
Attendees included members of the production team and cast, which may include Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss, although their presence has not been confirmed. Guests enjoyed the evening with a DJ, dancers and a fireworks display. They were also offered the opportunity to do so “Matrix Souvenir Tattoos”.
“The atmosphere was exuberant. Everyone was given one PCR test from the crown in advance. Everyone was supposed to come with a mask, but many people didn’t wear it during the party, “said one party attendee anonymously.
Potsdam’s health department is investigating what happened and is discussing with the firm to clarify the facts.
