According to analyst Ming-Chio Kuo, the the first iPad with a mini-LED screen will be launched in the first half of 2021. This means that Apple will have already succeeded – or is very close – to solve the production problems of this technology.
This new device will enter mass production in the first half of next year. Which means the long-awaited iPad may not arrive until the summer of 2021.
What are the advantages of a mini LED screen
Mini-LED technology is seen as the evolution of OLED panels. The new panels are expected to retain the excellent color reproduction and contrast of OLEDs, but with lower manufacturing costs.
