Oppo registers the patent for smartphones with extensible display

This patent was filed and registered with CNIPA (National Intellectual Property Administration of China), by Guangdong OPPO Mobile, at the end of April. But only now, on November 13, has it been approved and published, and as usual LetsGoDigital was the first to find this patent.

The new design of this patent of OPPO, is identical to the smartphone with the roll-up screen LG, which was due to be released next year, codenamed “Explorer Project”. This mysterious smartphone from LG could be as official as LG Rollable, but for this patent from OPPO we have no name.

The front design of this equipment is free of cutouts on the screen or notch. This means you can bring a camera built into the screen. Its sides are rounded, without any buttons, and on the back it contains only its rear camera.

But really the most important thing about this smartphone’s design is its screen. The display of this device can be extended by pulling it upwards. In this way it transforms from a mini smartphone to a more traditional smartphone.

That said, the design of this equipment and its portability is similar to that of a shell equipment, such as the Galaxy Z Flip is Motorola razr.

Oppo maintains its program of events where it shows innovations to the consumer, these events are called Inno Day and the 2020 edition is scheduled for November 17th in Shenzhen, China. Oppo uses this event to showcase its latest developments in the mobile sphere.
