Days before the PlayStation 5 premiere, Sony and rapper Travis Scott confirmed a collaboration with which the singer would become a creative partner of the brand. Until now, it was not known how the singer would promote the PlayStation 5 beyond the videos he had presented. Some tennis shoes with the brand’s design had attracted attention and recently it was announced what the campaign of the clothing line was, which includes precisely these tennis that will be almost impossible to obtain.
On the day of the PlayStation 5 launch, Travis Scott released an amazing video that was shot in a desert and can be seen enjoying the PlayStation experience with all the games coming to the new console. The short film also shows that an event was held where the rapper visited 2 lucky players and gave them a pair of PlayStation 5s.
That’s not all, because shortly after this presentation, the official store of the Travis Scott brand with Cactus Jack products revealed a clothing line inspired by the Sony brand, which includes t-shirts, sweaters and sweatshirts with a price ranging from $ 48 USD to $ 98 USD.
PlayStation tennis shoes will be very exclusive
The most interesting product, however, are the tennis shoes that Travis Scott showed in advance in one of the videos with which he announced his collaboration with Sony. These sneakers are a lavender blue Nike Dunk Low that highlights the laces and the Nike logo on the side of each shoe with black tones. The coloring of the shoes is complemented by white. Although the color scheme is harmonious, the PlayStation details are what makes this model special, as it features the logos of Sony, PlayStation, as well as Cactus Jack.
Interestingly, the PlayStation and Nike logos that appear on the left shoe are in English (Roman characters), while the markings appear in Japanese on the right shoe.
If you liked the design we have bad news for you, because this model will be very very limited, as it will not go on sale, but only 5 pairs have been made that the public will have access to and the only way to do it it is through a lottery, from which the winners will come out, who will not have to pay to receive the prizes.
The worst news is that this promotion is only available to US residents. If you’re from there, hurry up to register, as registrations opened on November 12th and will close today, November 13th
