DxOmark leaves the Mate 40, Mi 10 Ultra and P40 behind

The new iPhones are already on the market and show users what Apple has created for the complicated 2020 year. After the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, it is now the turn of 12 minis and 12 Pro Max to go on sale.

At the same time, tests and comparisons have emerged showing how the new iPhone positions itself in the market and what it has to offer. In the case of the iPhone 12 Pro, it has now been rated by the well-known DxOmark and its performance has certainly left it below expectations.

DxOmark tests evaluate the quality of photos
With a growing interest in photography, both manufacturers and consumers want the best in a smartphone.  To evaluate and show the quality of equipment in this field, DxOmark has become a reference, which everyone is waiting for.
The iPhone 12 Pro has now been rated and its overall score places it in the top 5 on this table, but below competing models.  We expected something more from this Apple smartphone, which is below the Huawei Mate 40 and P40, as well as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.

With 128 overall rating points, the iPhone 12 Pro manages to stand out in some points that are important for photography.  It is interesting to note that the evolution compared to the previous model is very small and it can be seen in the 4 points of difference that these models have between them.
DxOmark highlights the quality of autofocus.  This is fast, which allows it to be easier to use.  There is still an appeal to the quality of the exhibit, although there are some issues later in the associated areas.
Apple stands out in the video
On the downside, DxOmark highlights the quality of the optical zoom.  This is only 2x, while its direct competition has 5X zoom lenses.  There is still loss of quality and a lot of noise in images captured in poorly lit places and problems with the colors of external images.
