Driving ban: New changes from Friday (13/11) in the operation of the grocery stores, but also in the kiosks.
With more stringent measures, the lockdown will continue in terms of the operation of supermarkets and convenience stores, pharmacy kiosks and car repair shops.
The aforementioned operating hours are changing, as part of the limitation of the spread of the coronavirus throughout the territory.
From today, Friday 13 November 2020 and for their entire period of validity restrictive measures:
-The food store (e.g. supermarkets, minimarkets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers), pharmacies and car repair shops will be open until 20.30.
– Especially for food supermarkets (supermarkets) e Mini market Please note that they can provide delivery services after 8.30pm and until 1am after midnight.
-The kiosks it can work 24 hours a day.
-It should be noted that Sunday 15 November 2020 the activity of any commercial shop that operates pursuant to paragraph 2 of article 16 of law 4177/2013 (A ‘173) is suspended.
This was stated in a call by the Ministry of Development and Investments on the occasion of today’s publication in the Official Gazette of the joint ministerial decision with the new package of restrictive measures to deal with the spread of Covid-19 which will be valid until 30 November.
In a new package of measures is still planned, for the activities of amateur driving schools, driving schools, professional driving schools (Schools / Certification Centers of PEI, KETHEVO), Vocational training schools (SEKAM) and Vocational training schools for truck drivers, the exception operation is suspended the training and examination needs (theoretical and practical) of candidates for bus and truck drivers, including the exam for the Certificates of Professional Competence, with a distance of 1.5 meters and with the participation of up to 5 trainees and carrying out theoretical and practical examinations of candidate drivers.
also the operation is suspended of road transport vehicle technical inspection services, excluding only Public and Private Vehicle Technical Inspection Centers (KTEO) which have an authorized automatic heavy vehicle technical inspection line for the technical inspection of trucks and motor vehicle buses.
From 5.00 to 21.00 citizens can travel to meet their vital, personal or professional needs that could not otherwise be met.
From 21:00 to 5:00 the movement of citizens is allowed for the following limited reasons: a) Travel to and from work during working hours or during work, b) Travel for health reasons (go to a pharmacy, visit a doctor or go to a hospital or health center, if advised after related communication ) c) individual movement with a pet.
