Concerns about the course of the disease in our country are very strong, both in the government and in the scientific staff.
This is why the government is already planning new measures, in case what is proposed today does not work. Speaking to MEGA and the main bulletin with Rania Jima, Stelios Petsas pointed out that if the planned measures and the new measures don’t work, there are two scenarios on the table.
Firstly, we may have an additional restriction on travel and secondly, a restriction on some activities that are free today, such as schools and some professional businesses that operate today and maybe that will change.
“We want the market to be open in December and Christmas, this is our main focus,” he said, adding that the Lockdown could be extended beyond November 30, adding: “No one can rule out an extension in December, but” If we follow the measures, this will not be necessary “.
Blocking is even more difficult

- The number 5 corresponds to: Go to a ceremony (eg funeral, wedding, baptism) under the conditions provided by law or go to parents or divorced parents who are in a dimension necessary to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with the provisions.
- The number 6 corresponds to: Exercise outdoors or movement with a pet, individually or in pairs, in the latter case observing the necessary distance of 1.5 meters.
Exercise clarifications
Furthermore, during today’s briefing, Mr. Hardalias clarified that during the time when physical exercise is allowed, ie from 05:00 to 21:00, sending an SMS to number 6 will be valid.
However, this is not about sport / training within sports clubs, but strictly only about individual sports.
This can be done in compositions for up to 3 people and with a strong recommendation it can preferably be done close to the citizens’ home.
It is recalled that, according to the information of the last few hours, the reason why the government made these decisions, because many messages were observed in 13033 in the evening and specifically for physical exercise.

Particular confusion and unrest were caused on Wednesday afternoon after the announcement of new tougher measures to limit the transmission of the coronavirus.
The Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, announced a ban on driving from 21:00 to 05:00 – with few exceptions – as well as additional measures for teleworking and individual exercise.
According to him, the reason for the tightening of measures is the government’s finding that there are unnecessary movements that facilitate the transmission of the virus.
The 21:00 curfew imposed from tomorrow Friday will cause a domino of new market interventions.
Following the announcements of the new measures by the head of the Civil Protection, there was confusion about the take-away and delivery operation and the information that they wanted to “block” from 20:30.
However, according to sources of the Civil Protection in in.gr – which were confirmed shortly after with an official announcement – for the take away the obvious will be worth. That is, citizens will not be able to go out exclusively to buy food after 21:00 and until 05:00 in the morning, when the new measures will be applied.
However, if someone is out at that time for permitted reasons (health, work, going out with a pet), they can purchase take-away food.
Regarding deliveries, it is expected that home deliveries will continue to be valid until businesses close according to their schedule.

As he characteristically states: “With regard to the take-away and delivery operation during the hours 21.00 – 05.00, we clarify that there is no problem of prohibition of home delivery services (delivery) during these hours.
“We also clarify that take away continues after 21:00 and throughout their opening hours, but not as a separate travel reason, but within the permitted travel during those hours.”
