Slalom championship title to Amélie Klopfenstein

Amélie Klopfenstein secured her first Swiss championship with the elite in the absence of reigning champion Wendy Holdener and Michelle Gisin. The 18-year-old from western Switzerland won the Diavolezza slalom, where she will recover part of the clashes of the national championship in 2020, 0.27 seconds ahead of Eliane Christen. The bronze went to Selina Gadient. Earlier this year, Klopfenstein caused a sensation at the Youth Olympic Games when he won gold in both the Super-G and giant slalom in French-speaking Switzerland.
