Funko has announced its latest figurine based on The Mandalorian, which commemorates the last seemingly simple work of our protagonist. If you haven’t seen the second episode of the show’s second season, then she looks like a pretty innocent model. Everyone’s favorite Baby Yoda * is excited about helping a frog-like alien transport her eggs across the galaxy for fertilization. Cute, right?

Except that Baby Yoda is less interested in carrying these eggs than in eating them raw. Now don’t get me wrong: I love myself a poached egg or two, but I like to think I refrain from eating if their mother is in dire need of said eggs to ensure the survival of her species. Baby Yoda might be a cute boy, but he can be a real jerk when he’s a little hungry.
The Child with Egg Canister figurine is currently on sale for $ 30 on Funko’s online store where it is listed as sold out. On Amazon, however, it is listed as available for pre-order and will be released on December 31st. It was announced as part of yesterday’s Mando Mondays promotion, a weekly drop in TV show-inspired products. Other items revealed include a wearable Mandalorian helmet, Baby Yoda plush, and clothing items.
