Dr Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention and former Minister of Health, praised Egypt’s illustrious experience in dealing with the Coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic, led by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, with rapid and early intervention and providing all aspects of the material, institutional and human attack to repel the pandemic from the beginning Its spread to Egypt.
Taj al-Din also praised the work to expand the health care umbrella in the republic, which was done in collaboration with all medical institutions, including university hospitals and Ministry of Health hospitals, which had the major impact on Egypt by overcoming this pandemic with the lowest number of casualties, as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has allocated £ 100 billion to support the system Medical staff in all governorates, as well as his daily monitoring of the conditions of hospitals and of intensive care units in them, the availability of devices and medicines, as well as its follow-up on the arrival of new devices designated and used to treat patients and the fair distribution of them, monitoring the needs of hospitals for isolation to Republic level of medical personnel and the speed of stocks to meet the needs, as well as its strategic willingness to furnaces re Of medicines, means of prevention and medical devices.
This took place during his online participation in a scientific conference entitled “The Egyptian Experience: Covid 19”, as part of the activities of the first day of the Tenth International Conference on Development and the Environment in the Arab World, organized by the university in ‘span of three days.

The President’s Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs reviewed the stages of the Egyptian experience in dealing with the Corona virus, which began with the assignment of Al-Nujaila Hospital as the first isolation hospital to receive returning Egyptians from China, and then continued efforts to equip all chest and fever hospitals across the republic, as well as following a distinct treatment protocol that includes all medications and precautionary measures to treat infected patients, both indoors of hospitals that in home isolation, and provide a direct transport network to patients to transfer them from places of home isolation to isolation hospitals, if necessary, noting that this experience illustrated the experience and medical competence of Egyptian doctors in dealing with the virus and identify it Symptoms and CT scans, especially in some cases that have not been testedPCR.
During the lecture, Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din praised Assiut University’s ability in its teaching hospitals, which assigned them to isolation, and its medical cadres, especially thoracic ward doctors, led by Dr. Jamal Rabie Agamy, head of the department in good crisis management, as well as their willingness to provide medical support with medical devices, supplies and human cadres to Corona patients at Esna and Abu Tig Isolation Hospital, as well as presenting an awareness program for the young doctors to guide them in the correct management of difficult cases and to determine the extent and percentage of their need for artificial respirators.
At the conclusion of his lecture, Dr. Muhammad Awad Tajuddin appealed to all to continue with precautionary and preventive measures, social distancing, use of disinfectants, and concern for personal and general hygiene, especially with the increase in cases of infection of new at that time, which again represents a danger bell, warning of the danger of the virus and its ability to spread quickly, as an infected person can transmit the infection to more than 4 people, as well as extend the incubation period for more than 14 days, which is very dangerous, wishing safety for all, forgiveness and mercy to the martyrs of doctors who sacrificed their lives in the service of others and to all virus martyrs from Egypt and the world.
