In September, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE or Fan Edition in 4G and 5G versions and in the meantime three updates have arrived. This device has won a lot of attention as it is very balanced and has an attractive price. It represents excellent value for money and occupies a place between the Galaxy S20 and the S20 Plus.
Galaxy S20 FE: three updates do not fix the screen problem!
While the S20 FE is a really good option, several users have reported problems with the touchscreen. For some reason it stops responding or registers touches that don’t exist. This was something we told Leak about. Also, the animations don’t work very well either. In most cases, users need to restart the equipment until this happens again. However, to solve this problem, Samsung has already released three consecutive updates.
The first update was released in the third week of October with the firmware version G78xxXXU1ATJ1. Soon after, Samsung released the G78xxXXU1ATJ5 version. With both, the Korean giant wanted to improve the responsiveness of the device’s screen. However, this brand has now rolled out a third update. However, the problem in the panel remains!
The latest update comes with version G781BXXU1ATK1 and comes with the November 2020 security patch for the Android OS. While this update doesn’t fix the screen issue, it does fix other things. For example in the animations that sometimes shook a little. In any case, the on-screen sensitivity issue should be addressed in future updates.
At the moment, the new update is only available for certain Snapdragon variants. However, it is expected to reach other equipment and regions in the coming days. So stay tuned when the notification has been received on your smartphone. The size is 202 MB.
