“The Hope probe completed its latest trajectory correction maneuver after traveling 290 million kilometers in space in 111 days. We officially announce that the Hope probe will arrive on Mars on February 9, 2021 “.

The probe was sent into space on July 19 and was built in collaboration with NASA and American scientists in that country. The purpose of the mission is to study the atmosphere of Mars and, above all, to investigate what led to the disappearance of water on the surface of the planet, together with the possible forms of life that could be found there.

The mission of Hope probe It is one of three already en route to Mars, which also include China’s Tianwen-1 probe and the United States’ Mars 2020 probe. If it continues as planned, the latter will arrive on Mars a few days after the Emirati probe.
