The podcaster Monero loses the race at the New York Congress

Douglas Tuman, a cryptocurrency enthusiast and host of the Monero Talk podcast, lost in an attempt to represent New York’s 4th borough in the United States Congress.

Second election results from the Associated Press, Tuman, a Republican, received 134,243 votes against the 147,580 of incumbent Democrat Kathleen Rice in New York’s 4th District, which includes parts of central and southern Nassau County. Rice has been a member of the United States House of Representatives since 2015.
