Some Epic Games Fortnite players will receive a free two-month subscription to the Disney + streaming service. Only Fortnite players who perform certain actions and are in eligible countries.

According to The Verge, game company Epic Games is rolling out a promotion that offers players a two-month free subscription to the Disney + streaming service if they spend real money on Fortnite.

The offer covers all expenses incurred from November 6th to the end of 2020, although players will be able to apply for the subscription until November 10th.

Codes expire January 31, 2021. This Fortnite promotion and free Disney + membership is not available in any country. It is limited to 21 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and most of Europe (France is a glaring exception).

In Germany, the free subscription to this service will only last for one month and existing Disney + users are not eligible. It’s important to remember that users will have to pay for the streaming service after the free period if they don’t cancel.

Disney is switching to streaming, and a promotion to one of the most popular games (especially a game like Fortnite with Marvel connections) could increase the subscriber base.

The second season of The Mandalorian will also help increase the number of subscribers to Disney + streaming. Meanwhile, for the game company Epic Games, this free signup promotion is a way to engage Fortnite players, as the dispute with Apple in the US could limit the gamer audience.

What do you think of the partnership between Epic Games and Disney +, after which Fortnite players will be able to win a free subscription to the streaming service?
