This Sunday after the budget meeting of the National Commission for the prevention, protection and control of the new coronavirus in the country, three health centers for free assistance to the population of Sucre, Carabobo and Caracas were activated and rehabilitated.
The “Bicentenario” Intelligent Molecular Biology laboratory was inaugurated in the state of Carabobo, a center that will have the capacity to carry out 324 daily molecular tests for different conditions, as well as attend over 2,000 patients using robots that allow you to specify chains up to three genes for each test of each PCR, “which makes it very accurate,” explained the governor of the state, Rafael La Cava, in a television broadcast by the state channel VTV with President Nicolás Maduro.
La Cava explained that around the start of sports activities in the country, in the modes of football, basketball and early baseball, this center is permanently supporting the entire process of verifying and identifying covid-19 in the aforementioned disciplines. .
“From here all tests are underway to ensure the safety of all athletes,” said the governor of Carabobo.
“El Peñón” de Sucre provides medical assistance to more than 200,000 people
In the state of Sucre, the El Peñón Comprehensive Diagnosis Center was reopened, providing medical assistance to over 200,000 people, helping to strengthen the National Health System.
It will provide services in the fields of ophthalmology, ultrasound, emergency consultations, X-rays and dentistry, informed the entity’s governor, Edwin Rojas.
While with the rehabilitation of the “José Gregorio Hernández” Popular Clinic, in the residential complex of Ciudad Caribe, in the state of La Guaira, masonry, lighting, plumbing and interior and exterior painting works were perfected, explained the Head of the District Government of the capital, Jacqueline Faria.
