The super talent in episode nine is heartbreaking – comedian Chris Tall bursts into tears for a candidate. With so much emotion, he even declared him the winner of the show.
Bremen – Like every year, RTL is looking for super talent in 2020 – jury member Chris Tall (29) found this in episode nine. Saturday 7 November, a candidate makes even the cheerful comedian cry. Out of pure emotion, he quickly declares him super talent 2020.
The super talent: the candidate sings in sign language
In fact, nothing upset Chris Tall that easily. Not only as a comedian, but also as a newcomer to the super talent jury, the 29-year-old loves making up funny phrases. But this talent leaves him speechless. Tears roll down his cheeks. He can’t calm down anymore and he can hardly pronounce the judgment. He never thought in his life that a candidate would touch him that way.
Until then – But when Rafael-Evitan Grombelka (35) offers his performance, Chris and his colleagues (all jurors at a glance) Dieter Bohlen (66), Bruce Darnell (62) and Evelyn Burdecki (33) argue with the tears. Rafael sings “Are you crying?” From the Echt band in sign language. The Cologne native is deaf from birth. He can’t listen to music, he can hear it. By appearance, the ARD sign language interpreter wants to prove that he can do anything in life.

In addition to working as a news interpreter, Rafael-Evitan Grombelka also works as a teacher, poetry writer, actor and model. The Cologne native speaks six sign languages. Even without feeling, Rafael always radiates positivity – this fact probably strikes Chris the most. “It doesn’t matter if you are tall, short, fat or thin, black or white. Come on stage here and show what a person is made of. (…) For me you are the 2020 super talent ”, sobbed the award-winning comedian after the show. If his colleagues were also so enthusiastic about Rafael it can be seen at 8:15 pm on RTL.
