According to Epidemiological Surveillance, an agency linked to the Department of Health, 1,622 children and adolescents have already visited the six BHUs in the city to check if there are any pending vaccinations. Eight hundred and sixty-nine of them were vaccinated; most are between 5 and 14 years old. The most used doses were yellow fever and triple viral.
Doses against infantile paralysis and 18 other diseases are available from UBS in the Center, Jardim São Jorge, Jardim São Manoel, Jardim Novos Horizontes, Jardim São Francisco and Jardim Alvorada. The vaccine rooms are open from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
