During a live broadcast on Instagram this Saturday evening, Noticias Caracol presenter Juan Diego Alvira interviewed journalist and media director Diego Santos Caballero. In the middle of the chat appeared Santos’ wife, Vanessa De la Torre, so between jokes and laughter they began to talk about various issues, including the resignation of Vanessa from Caracol and the day they almost accused her of having an affair with her ex-partner Alvira.
“Come say hello, come say hello to your lover,” Santos said jokingly to his wife as he passed … Vanessa walked over to the screen and, after several lines, they started talking about her departure from Noticias Caracol ..
“Why did he leave Caracol and why did he abandon me?” Alvira asked him. Vanessa replied, once again jokingly, that she had to leave because he didn’t give her enough attention.
Seriously, the presenter recalled the great help Alvira has represented for her career. “You taught me everything I needed to know. A highway of information and experiences on which I have traveled for the rest of my life “, she said excitedly.
They also talked about gossip involving former roommates, about an alleged love affair, a rumor that was triggered by the purchase of a mattress.
“You can’t imagine, Diego […] this scene is unique. We were friends of Vanessa and they sent us videos saying “you have something with Vanessa”, recalled Alvira adding: “rit turns out that one day of these when we finish the news, we went for breakfast (…), Vanessa tells me: hey Juan Diego, let’s buy a mattress ”.
Vanessa interrupts him and reiterates that it was a mattress for her daughter Raquel. At that moment, Alvira continues to tell: “we went to a warehouse, went in and asked where the mattress area was”.
Arriving, Vanessa started jumping on the mattresses to test them, which attracted the attention of most people, the reporter said.
While Vanessa looked at the mattresses, Juan Diego receives a call from his wife, they greet them and he tells her about the hilarious moment they are going through, to which his wife answers: “But my love, can you imagine what people think of you trying mattresses?”. When he hangs up with his wife, Alvira says he went to Vanessa to tell her what she thought: “I told her we were setting bad examples and generating suspicion.”
Eventually, after several comments gracefully and in an atmosphere of full complacency, the former colleagues said they had not bought the mattress and, after a few moments, the group of reporters continued to talk about other experiences.
