D-Day polio vaccination: 658 children are vaccinated

The second D-day of polio vaccination, held this Saturday in Cascavel, had 1,010 evaluations and 658 doses of polio vaccine administered to children aged 12 months to less than five years.

The Municipal Health Authority has opened 34 vaccination units, in addition to the mobile unit in front of the Cathedral, and even so the goal, which is to vaccinate 16,687 children, has not been achieved.

Since the start of the campaign, 14,069 children have been immunized, equal to 84.31% of the target.
