It was observed that children and adults produced different types and numbers of antibodies in the new type of coronavirus infection (Kovid-19).
According to the ScienceDaily report, the reception on the subject was made by astonishing scientists from Columbia University.
The results were published in the journal “Nature Immunology.” 47 children and 32 adults who contracted Kovid-19 were examined.
16 of the children were treated for multisystem inflammatory syndrome and it was stated that symptoms of Kovid-19 were not seen in half of the children except those who received this treatment.
It was stated that among adults of different ages, there were hospitalized and home treatment grains.
Compared to adults, the children produced very few antibodies against the large acute protein used to infect human Kovid-19 cells, and the children’s antibodies were observed to have the least neutralizing activity.
There was also evidence that the children produced significantly fewer antibodies against a viral protein that was only introduced into the bacterial system after the virus infected human cells.
It was pointed out that this meant that the infection did not spread too much in children and did not kill too many cells.
