Among the large number of new features that MIUI 12 has already brought us, we find the VLOG mode, a combination of the concepts “video” and “blog” that allows us to create original montages and which has now been updated to the version VLOG 2.0.

By itself, the novelties of VLOG 2.0 focus on three new features which, as announced, too we will see little by little in the global version of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices.
The main function that defines this new version of VLOG 2.0 lies in the ability to record small video fragments for later and at any other time, modify or combine them with others. Let’s not forget that until now we could only do it on the fly.
Also, VLOG 2.0 now allows the use of templates that will facilitate the creation of content. These will contain quite varied visual and sound effects, thus enriching the final result of our vlogs.
To all this, this new version adds a new one binding effect, allowing us to divide the screen into two parts, displaying a different video clip in each of them. Even now videos can be as long as we want, without any limit as the first version limited us.
As usual, VLOG 2.0 has started to be implemented on MIUI’s Chinese ROM so it won’t be until a few weeks or even months that we will see it fully implemented in the MIUI global ROM.
