Following the launch of Revolut’s new cryptocurrency exchange in the US, the company has added support for bitcoin cash and litecoin. In addition to supporting bitcoin and ethereum, the coins added by the trading platform offer Revolut users the ability to buy, store and sell four different digital assets.

Six weeks ago, Revolut launched a new exchange in the United States, and the platform initially supported bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH).

Revolut today added support for bitcoin cash (BCH) and litecoin (LTC) to the exchange’s listed cryptocurrency roster. Revolut claims that the trading platform allows users to trade digital assets at the touch of a button.

Revolut has 13 million customers worldwide and around one million users trade on a regular basis. “The monthly cryptocurrency volumes amount to hundreds of millions of dollars,” the company explained in detail during the announcement of BCH and LTC support.

Additionally, the company says around 5,000 daily signups are attributed to its crypto service.

“At Revolut, we pride ourselves on being a customer obsessed brand,” said Edward Cooper, Revolut’s Head of Crypto. “Since we launched our cryptocurrency offering in the US, we have had swarms of customers asking to add Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin to the product. So, we took notice, we immediately got to work and were able to deliver in only four weeks “.

The company pointed out that it aims to build a super financial application that “provides customers with a checking account, budget tools, instant P2P payments.”

Revolut also allows users to spend and transfer funds using a real-time exchange rate based on 28 different fiat currencies.

“I’ve said that before, but encryption has traditionally been inaccessible to the average consumer,” Cooper concluded.

“Traditional exchanges can be clunky and confusing, which immediately makes many people uneasy. We have built a platform that gives you visibility into the world of digital currencies at the touch of a button, and that’s how it should be, ”added Revolut Head of Crypto executive.
