Onslaught Overview
- In Zombies Onslaught you and another operator appear with their chosen equipment in one of several locations on different multiplayer maps. It’s the same gear you wear in traditional zombies and multiplayer, complete with your primary weapon of choice – a machine gun, heavy sniper rifle, or other fully functional zombie hunting weapon.
- Once inside, the race begins; The Dark Aether Sphere locks your team of two in a demarcated area on the map where the undead will appear. If you kill the zombies, the sphere becomes more powerful. If you kill enough zombies, the sphere will move. As long as you are in the sphere, you will not take any damage from the dark aether outside the specific map area. The orb protects this area and keeps players alive as they face stronger undead enemies. With each “wave” the zombies become stronger, faster and more deadly.
- As the ball gains power and pushes more and more opponents away, you need to keep moving, as the safe zone moves to different areas of the map. So, when fighting the Horde, be prepared to change your strategy at the speed of light.
- Some waves bring elite opponents with them, enemies more powerful than the common masses of zombies. Don’t make the mistake of calling them cannon fodder. In the restricted area, they can suddenly stand in front of you – the length of one arm is enough to sweep you and your partner away.
- To score points, the elites should be your main focus, as you will receive a rank of bronze, silver or gold depending on the number of elites you and your partner defeat.
- When you reach a certain rank, useful rewards will be unlocked for use in zombies and multiplayer. Each season, new cards and rewards are introduced for PS4 and PS5 players.
