The iPhone 13 could become a hit with a further improved camera

Apple’s iPhone 13 will again bring significant improvements to the camera. Not only should these deliver significantly better low-light images, but observers also expect a noticeable increase in demand over the next year. 5G will also have an impact here.

Apple just rolled out the iPhone 12 completely – the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max have been available to customers for pre-order only since yesterday – but some observers are already looking at the next generation of iPhones.

One of them is the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a recent note from TF International Securities, he suspects that Apple will once again significantly improve the iPhone 13 camera. According to the industry observer, this will be especially evident with the super wide-angle lens. This is enhanced by an aperture of f / 2.4 to f / 1.8, which would more than double the incidence of light. This in turn would mean significantly improved recording quality in dark or low light conditions.

In addition, another element of the lens needs to be added and the ultra wide angle lens needs to be equipped for the first time with an autofocus, which would give the user the opportunity to take more meaningful ultra wide angle shots at close range.

5G will also drive the iPhone 13

Furthermore, the analyst assumes that the 5G functionality will also have a greater impact on sales in the next year. 5G is already important for the iPhone in some pioneering markets, mainly in Asia, such as China, South Korea and Japan, but 5G is still not a relevant factor in many Western markets.

This will start to change over the next year.

As for the design, no changes are expected, according to forecasts. Apple will stick to the three dimensions and four models, as well as the overall design of the iPhone 13.
